Welcome to ModSynapse, a brand new home for modding PC games, and this is officially our first post. If you're reading this, you're one of the very first people through the door. Thanks for being here.

What ModSynapse is

ModSynapse is a fast, modern platform for discovering, sharing, and managing mods for PC games. We're building it around a few simple ideas:

• Find mods in seconds. Clean search and browse across games, categories, and tags, with no wading through clutter to reach the good stuff.
• A first-class home for creators. Upload, version, and update your mods with proper changelogs, and keep everything in one place.
• Guides that actually help. Community-written guides sit alongside the mods, so getting set up is as easy as finding the download.
• A library that's yours. Save favourites, track what you've downloaded, and keep your collection organised.

We're building ModSynapse hand in hand with the people who make mods, and we've got a few nice things lined up for creators who join us early.

If you make mods, we'd genuinely love to hear from you. Come say hello on Discord, tell us what you're working on, and we'll get you set up. There may be a little something in it for our earliest authors.

Join the community

We're just getting started, and the best place to follow along, share feedback, and hang out with other modders is our community:

• Discord join the ModSynapse server for announcements, support, and general chat.
• Bluesky follow us for updates straight to your feed.

Most of all, we want to hear from you. ModSynapse is being built in the open, and your ideas will shape where it goes. What makes a great repository for PC game mods? What have other platforms got right, and what have they got wrong? Which features would make your modding life easier, whether you're creating or just downloading? Come and tell us in Discord. Every suggestion, request, and bit of feedback genuinely helps us build something better.

Just getting started

We're at the very beginning, and the catalogue is going to grow fast. Expect new games, more mods, better tools for creators, and plenty of refinements as we listen to what you need.
